Pacemaker Plus™ is the brand name of Can Man‘s weld monitor system for enhanced quality control and error detection. It was developed in addition to the already integrated current monitor in the static frequency inverter PACEMAKER™ to fit new or to upgrade existing welders.
A high quality weld starts with a state of the art power generator. That is why our monitor system comes always with the PACEMAKER™.
Weld monitoring system
Algorithms of various welding errors are pre-stored and will be compared with errors during the weld process. Errors of material or errors of the welding process are detected and reported, faulty welds are sorted out. PACEMAKER Plus™ is able to detect and analyse various blank damages, overlacquering and hot / cold welds.
Two categories of failures are preset:
- rough failure identification
- sensitive failure diagnosis
Upgrade your existing welders
The process of upgrading your welder to PACEMAKER Plus™ is separated in three steps:
- First step is to analyse the individual production environment where the weld monitor will be applied to calibrate the units proper detection boundaries. Proper analysis is mandatory to the Pacemaker Plus™ installation. The analysis will help you to detect welders hidden defects – a first and inexpensive step up in quality!
- Second step is the physical integration of the weld monitor and the application of the probes to your existing welder.
- Final step is to set up operators individual error samples and detection limits and to go online.
