This upgrade solution for Soudronics FBB welders is a result of a joint venture project between SABATEC and Can Man to have a solution for a shortened secondary welding circuit to increase quality, output and reduce energy consumption.
The PowerUPGRADE™ SC FBB consists of two main components:
- SABATEC's shortened welding arms (secondary circuit)
- Can Man's PACEMAKER™ digital frequency inverter
These components add a astonishing new performance peak of plus 20% and a reduction of energy consumption of over 40% to your aged FBB.
In an average environment it becomes realistic to save up to 15'000 € of energy costs per year and upgrade helping to amortize the PowerUPGRADE™ SC within 4 years in a single shift operation!
The upgrade provokes on the other hand a dramatic reduction of tear and wear of the whole welder, especially in the section of rollforming and body transport gear box!
Advantages the PowerUPGARDE SC FBB
- With the shortened welding arm you'll need the same energy at 700 Hz as you needed before at 500 HZ!
- The shortened welding arm allows, in connection with PACEMAKER™, to increase the over all welding quality. The ideal welding point distance for every application can now be set accurately.
- The rollformer is totally decoupled from the welding energy circuit which prevents passive heating of the unit. Tear and wear of the rollformer are reduced to the physical minimum generated by the rollforming task.
- The compact design of the unit reduced the weight and helps to keep the «insulation issue» under control.
- On top the shortened welding arm is designed to carry powder arms for coating units. The powder application is therefore easy to apply and maintain.
