The feeding process

Pallet preparation and delivery:
For delivery the blank stacks out of your buffer stack need to be loaded manually to custom size pallets prepared for the size of the blank. The loading section is equipped with ball bearings, lifting mechanism and blank adjustment to support easy stacking, positioning and separating of the heavy pallets in order to prevent jamming. By the push of a button, the whole stack bundle is lowered and delivered to the conveyor. After a few seconds the loading zone is free again to reload for a second bundle.

Fork lifter:
If a pallet arrives in the fork lifter section, it is adjusted in x and y axis and split from the following pallets to leave only one pallet stack in the fork lifter section. The other stacks remain cued on the delivery conveyor.

The fork lifter continuously loads blanks from the pallet stack and skims simultaneously through the blanks in a self-acting process. Skimming of the blanks is needed to break electrostatic load, which eventually let the blanks stick together and jam welder’s magazine. Now, the blanks are lifted and forwarded to the welder’s blank magazine. The loading process is immediately interrupted (stand by), in case the probe senses the pre adjusted maximum load of the blank magazine. If the welders blank magazine fill sinks below the mark. The fork lifter continues.

Ejection of empty pallets:
If a pallet is completely unloaded by the fork lifter, the eject mechanism of the fork lifter section detects the empty pallet and ejects it to the reverse conveyor leading the pallet back to the preparation section for reload.
