Besides core technologies for a fluent welding process, Can Man steps up to provide solutions for the blank delivery process to the welder. POWERFEED™ is designed to close the gap between your slitter and your welder’s blank magazine in case, your slitter is situated on a different section, floor or building than your welders. POWERFEED™ buffers and delivers a large amount of bodyblanks for a continuous operation of the welder even with few loading personal. With POWERFEED™ large can editions can be produced flawlessly like never before.
The feeding process Pallet preparation and delivery: Fork lifter: The fork lifter continuously loads blanks from the pallet stack and skims simultaneously through the blanks in a self-acting process. Skimming of the blanks is needed to break electrostatic load, which eventually let the blanks stick together and jam welder’s magazine. Now, the blanks are lifted and forwarded to the welder’s blank magazine. The loading process is immediately interrupted (stand by), in case the probe senses the pre adjusted maximum load of the blank magazine. If the welders blank magazine fill sinks below the mark. The fork lifter continues. Ejection of empty pallets:
The PowerFEED™ is easy to handle with the included operation panel. All the function are displayed with symbols to make the operation of the unit as intuitive as possible. The operation panel is a w-lan terminal and needs no fix connection cable.
The applied probes support the systems surveillance. The picture shows to blank magazines probes which constantly transmit the load status of the welders blank magazine.
The magnetic head module is the PowerFEED's core unit supporting blank skimming and blank stack separation for a accurate blank loading process. We provide different modules depending on the blank height processed.
The fork lift area is secured with a cage and a locker door. The active door-locker system stops the feeding operation if the door is opened by mistake.
