Doubleflex Rollformer

With 2 flexer stations we have taken a step to enhance rollforming quality and tackle hardness and thickness variations without additional (and uppricing) technologies. This serves not only the welding process but also the further flanging and seaming processes.

Easy Access

There are no easier to operate welders in the market than the ones from Can Man. 2 push buttons and you’ll fully open the complete flexer rolling unit, lift up the blank magazine, lower the guidance channel, slide aside the body transport system and unlock and shift forward the calibration tool.

TempGUARD™

A complete and independent temperature control was implemented to avoid „overcooling“ which results in condensation of water under humid conditions and it further saves energy (= operation costs).

Wire Cooling And Treatment

The wire cooling is essential on high speed welders. It assures best possible welding roll performance and increases the rolls lifetime considerable. As in all Can Man welders, the wire routing is among the most simple ones ever made. Compare it with any of your welders and you’ll see the difference.

Redundant Control

Our controls are among the most reliable ever made. For the X-series we followed the market by using an easy to operate, bright and large „touch panel“, but we added some „traditional“ switches in order to guarantee the operation of the machine in all its main functions in case of a damaged or defective touch screen.

Scoring Unit

The integration of a scoring unit in combination with a separator allows a production of up to 1300 cans per minute, in case your complete production process requires that speed.

XPlane™

Only 1 instead of 4 items must be adjusted after redressing the welding roll to achieve a constant welding quality. That means minimal down time plus a reduction of human handling errors.

Accessories

Welding roller dressing unit

Professional and exact profiling of the welding roll is an important factor for a smooth canbody production. With Can Man's dressing unit this job can be done on a high quality standard, no matter which brand of welding roll is used.

Blank measuring unit

A good can starts with a good blank. To do important offline controls we provide the blank measuring unit to ensure that cutting tolerances are kept within the lmits.

Ball tester

Check the stability / strength of the seam throughout the entire canbody length, including beginning and end of the welded seam. The seam has to withstand either high pressures and mechanical stresses, espcially aerosol and food cans.

Cold pressure welder

With the cold pressure welder two ends of copper wire can be welded together if the copper wire coil is empty or after a wire break. Welding the two ends together avoids the job of re-threading the copper wire which can be a quite time-consuming job, especially on aged welders and welders of other brands because the wiring is complicated.
