The ball tester can due to its very compact size be placed besides every production line or of course on a centralized quality control place. A welded body is placed around the mandrel and the seam-strength can be checked very fast and easy. If the seam crashes welder’s current can be adjusted and a smooth canboy production can be started. One testing head per diameter is available and changeover takes only 5 minutes.
